This piece commemorates John Muir's first visit to Yosemite Valley in the spring of 1868.
John Muir was a naturalist, author, and advocate for the preservation of wilderness in the United States.

Later in life, while on an excursion with then President Theodore Roosevelt, it is believed that he convinced Roosevelt to create the National Park system, including Yosemite, so that the wilderness could be preserved.

Absolutely Love!
I purchased the Yosemite piece and a handful of different coasters and I am just blown away at the beauty of it all. The detail in the wood pieces is stunning and I cannot wait to add more to our collection!

Beautiful piece. I wish I would have bought it months ago when I first saw it. We are very happy with it.

Grand Tetons
Using these materials to build a picture of nature is genius, for me it feels closer to being there than an photograph. I left the mountains a few years ago and have missed them lately, so this is a lovely reminder. And the product pictures look good, but I was blown away when it arrived, it is even better in person.

Hood and Baker - In Love
I recently bought Mount Rainier and absolutely loved the work and high quality so I bought two more: Hood and Baker. I now have 3 pieces of beautiful art in my main room reminding me of 3 of my favorite summits. Highly recommend these pieces!
