Mount Hood stands prominently east of Portland in Oregon. This jewel of the Pacific North West is a part of the Cascade Range that stretches from British Columbia all the way to Northern California.

This scene includes solid White Oak, Walnut, Aspen, Red Oak, and Cherry in the design pieces. The backer board is cabinetry-grade Walnut laminate; laser-cut to 18.5 X 11.25 Inches.

A larger 27 x 16.5 inch version is also available.

Using these materials to build a picture of nature is genius, for me it feels closer to being there than an photograph. I left the mountains a few years ago and have missed them lately, so this is a lovely reminder. And the product pictures look good, but I was blown away when it arrived, it is even better in person.
